New Jalpaiguri Station/Bagdogra Airport – Darjeeling

Show up at New Jalpaiguri station or Bagdogra air terminal and continue to Darjeeling. Show up at Darjeeling and look into your inn. Night is at recreation. Overnight at Darjeeling.

DAY 2

Darjeeling-Sightseeing

Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see an excellent dawn and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest and so on One can see the skyline changing shadings not long before dawn and afterward the whole Himalayan reach turn brilliant. It is genuinely a glorious sight and Ghoom Monastery which is most established Monastery in the region which was implicit 1875 and one can see the picture of Mythey Buddha 15ft. tallness in transit back from Tiger Hill.

Breakfast at the lodging and continue for city visit visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute(closed on Thursday) which was begun by Tenzing Norgay after he ascended Mt. Everest, Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre(closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tea Estate(from outside), Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda.

DAY 3

Darjeeling – Pelling 80 kms 3 hours approx.

After breakfast move to Pelling (2000 mts.). On appearance registration to inn rest of the day free. Overnight at Pelling.

DAY 4

Pelling - Sightseeing

After breakfast continue for city visit visiting Pemayangste Monastery, Rabtense Ruins, Khechipalri Lake, Kanchenjunga Fall and Rambi Falls Ground. Overnight remain at Pelling.

DAY 5

Pelling – Gangtok 127 kms 5 hours approx.

After breakfast at the inn move to Gangtok. Later continue for half day touring in Gangtok visiting Flower Show, Do Drul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology(closed on Sunday), Cottage Industry(closed on Sunday) and Bakthang Falls. Overnight at inn.

DAY 6

Gangtok - Sightseeing

After breakfast at the inn and entire day trip to Changu Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an elevation of 12,400 feet. The lake gets its waters from liquefying snows off the encompassing mountains Legends state that lamas could figure the future by contemplating the shade of the lake's waters.

Likewise visit New Baba Mandir

Overnight at inn.

DAY 7

Gangtok – Bagdogra/NJP 125 kms 4 hours approx.

After breakfast at the inn and drive to Bagdogra/NJP as expected for flight/train to forward objective.
